Here we go again.

He was the master of his own downfall.

He was brought into do a job, stop the possibility of relegation. Which he did.

However once we were safe he continued to serve up his “ no shots a game footy “, when in fact it was a golden opportunity for him to show there was more to him than his footballing eye aids.

Has he done this, he may well’ve still been here now, rather than acting like a spoilt kid on Talksport and continually whining about how dare Everton treat me like that.

Then to compound matters he decided to take the fans on at every opportunity for daring to criticising him.

He’s a stain on the history of the club and needs to be airbrushed out,

This is what galls me the most.

He has become the “go to” guy when the media wants to talk about Everton’s current travails..

I worked at Old Trafford once, at one of the many tribute events for SAF. Sam Allardyce, being a close friend of Fergie, was there along with Bryan Robson,Wilf McGuinness, Jim Smith, Peter Reid and inevitably Mick Hucknall and Tony Christie. Sam was a pleasant man with a wicked sense of humour, who made a big payment to charity on the night. Reputations in football are built on sand, not reality.

I think Silva will really be skating on thin ice, if we lose to Watford. To be honest, i think he's fighting for his future as of now.He has until the end of the season to turn this around.A bottom half finish, will not be acceptable.

They have a 17 day break where they will no doubt be taken on a freebie winter holiday. I've never had a 17 day break from some form of work since I left school.

They need to drill free kicks and corners 5 or 6 hours each week. We concede for fun but never score from them. Recipe for disaster. It will get him sacked if he doesn't sort it out.

I can see this being used in the near future, something along the lines of "They've just had a 17 day break, they need to get back up to match fitness"

He’s a stain on the history of the club and needs to be airbrushed out,

Joyce calls him out for that in the article I linked earlier:
"And even in his brief reign, Allardyce - now a constant and somewhat selective commentator on his Everton era - managed to inflict more serious damage.

Allardyce claimed he wanted to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who left Borussia Dortmund for Arsenal for £56m, in January but the deal was too expensive "because of what they'd spent previous to me arriving".

The argument is flawed by the fact Allardyce was handed £47m in that window to spend on Theo Walcott and Cenk Tosun, two expensive, highly-paid flops Silva has been saddled with."

Rolf Harris was very charming and witty in public too.

Why are a good portion of our fanbase living in the film Bird Box?

Why cant they see whats going on week in week out?

Why cant they see Martinez's defensive flaws never changed no matter how much time we gave same as will be the case with this fella?

Why cant they see the awful set piece record that follows Silva around from club to club

OPEN DEM EYES

Nah he just bought poorly. Funes Mori was bought for relatively big money at the time, but he was absolutely not the answer. The defence wasn't really aging either, Jagielka, Heitinga, and Baines were still in their 20s when he took over, Stones was about 20, Coleman 24, Oviedo 23. Silva took over with Baines and Jagielka now 5 years older, Coleman 30 and coming off a serious injury, and Williams in his mid 30s. If anyone took over an aging defence it's Silva.
Fairly sure the defence outside of Coleman were 30+...
My point is Silva has been allowed to spend and has England’s GK in a pretty expensive defence
All about tactics...
