Moshiri trying to save face backing this clown.
I would be when i was paying BBS, Koeman and BFS still.

He sacks Silva he's going to have another sacked manager on the payroll paying him and his backroom staff for the duration of their contracts.

Not good when they wages to turnover ration is 78% and the highest in the top 5 European leagues.

Spurs really didn't establish themselves until 2015-16, tbf
They were in the CL in 10-11 when they beat the holders Inter Milan, they also finished in the top 4 the season after but Chelsea won the CL that season which demoted them to the EL. They also missed out on the CL on the last day of the season under Martin Jol when they got food poisoning and Arsenal pipped them to the 4th place trophy

I don’t understand why everyone wants Silva out.

We have looked lethal when the squad has performed to his instructions.

All his signings have paned out well; including Richarlison, whom is our top goal scorer despite being a dirty loathsome player.

We have known issues that we must improve upon:
1. Defending set pieces
2. We need a premier league quality CF that can finish and also create chances for himself and others.
3. Add mobility to midfield while maintaining technical ability.

All of these issues require time; either to bring in new players or develop our young talent to perform these roles where applicable.

Adapting style and philosophy to fit players at hand is done by managers that only want to meet bare minimum results to achieve mediocrity and guard off relegation.

Good managers of competitive clubs must develop players, and make purchases to fit an implemented strategy that enables the club to be successful.

Further turnover and change is the enemy. Support Everton, Support Brands, Support Silva, Support the lads. Results will follow.

Ha ha

Unbelievable its like some people dont even watch us / look at stats and results and just get hard over a fancy named tippy tappy foreign manager.

If he was called Mark Smith who was relegated with Hull, sacked by Watford, an awful set piece conceeding record with 3 clubs, the only manager in PL history to conceede 6 goals with different sides and currently managing a side winning abar 1 in 10 and playing gut wrenching football he would be hounded out.

Martinez and Alladyce are both paid off I believe. Its only Koemans wages we are still paying but I imagine that will end next season as he only signed a 3 yr deal.

Silva signed a 3 yr deal on 3 mil a year (sam and koeman were on 6 mil a year)

So if Silva is sacked come the seasons end which is a 6 mil pay off - not exactly earth shattering sums.

Always amazes me how so many can't read between the lines and take everything literally. Little wonder football fans can be treated as mugs.

In just 2 league games Koeman went from having Moshiris total support, only suffering one unexpected defeat and it all being early days to being sacked.

2nd October 2017.
“We are in a bad moment,” Moshiri said, “but we have played the four title contenders, three away. Today was the only unexpected loss. The four pre-qualifying Uefa games and two group games on Thursdays haven’t helped. There is mental and physical fatigue and seven injuries. These are early days and Koeman has my total support. We have great fans and they deserve better. We know the honest and objective expectations of our supporters and will not let them down.”

In the league we then drew at Brighton and lost to Arsenal.

27th October 2017
Koeman was sacked.

That's why I mentioned it earlier mate, the owners backing is normally the kiss of death, so Moshiri's backing should be taken with a pinch of salt.

I TOTALLY understand why everyone wants Silva out.

We have looked AWFUL when the squad has performed to his instructions.

All his signings have NOT paned out well; including Richarlison, whom is our top goal scorer despite being a dirty loathsome player.

We have known issues that we must improve upon:
1. Defending set pieces
2. We need a premier league quality CF that can finish and also create chances for himself and others.
3. Add mobility to midfield while maintaining technical ability.

All of these issues require A KNEE JERK REACTION; either to bring in new MANAGERS, COACHING STAFF AND OWNERS or develop our young talent to perform these roles where applicable.

Adapting style and philosophy to fit players at hand is done by BETTER managers. that only want to meet bare minimum results to achieve mediocrity and guard off relegation.

Good managers of competitive clubs must develop players, and make purchases to fit an implemented strategy that enables the club to be successful. THAT IS WHY IT IS IMPERATIVE TO HAVE ONE THAT IS NOT SILVA.

Further turnover and change is the THE BEST WAY FORWARD. DON'T Support Everton, DON'T Support Brands, SACK Silva, BOO the lads. Results will follow.

WHOA! Dude, are you new here? Please don't talk any sense whatsoever. You'll be ridiculed and mocked. I've fixed your post.....

Well said!

We are getting worse by the year, we are following villa and Leeds, we need to stop giving out huge contracts. It's not nice but we will have to endure Silva for while, he has to set us up for the next man to take over.

No, we do not have to endure this as it stands right now.

Otherwise the next man will either be coming in this November to try and avoid relegation or come in the following season to take over a Championship team.

Because that is the only thing I can see Silva setting us up for.

I think the reason people are not displaying a great deal of patience with him right now is because this situation was entirely predictable given the year he had spent managing in England prior to Moshiri’s rush of blood and insane, expensive headhunting of the fellow.

I will be more than happy to be proven wrong in this but I have zero expectation that Silva can turn this round.

Zero.

Now, I wouldn’t fire him just yet as I believe we only need another three points, four tops, to be certain of staying out of trouble....though in actual fact I believe the 33 points we are on now will work too.

And looking for a new manager at this time of year is fraught with Allardyce type danger.

So it is up to him to show some sort of nous and get some big results between now an May to convince us he is worth persevering with.

But if the drift we have seen since the 96th minute at Anfield continues until then, then adios Marco.

Because it is never too early to ditch a poor manager.

Déjà vu

- Team performances and results very poor? Check
- Pressure mounting on the Manager? Check
- Owner speaks to Jim White and publicly backs the Manager with total support? Check
- Break coming up shortly? Check

Make of it what you will but History has a habit of repeating itself especially when Everton and Moshiri are concerned. Lets go back to October 2017.

1st October 2017 - Everton boss Ronald Koeman given support from Farhad Moshiri

Everton's major shareholder Farhad Moshiri has given underfire manager Ronald Koeman his support after Burnley's 1-0 victory at Goodison Park on Sunday.

"We're in a bad moment - but these are early days and Koeman has my total support," billionaire Moshiri told Sky Sports News presenter Jim White.

3rd October 2017 - Koeman: Break Can Help Us Prepare

23rd October 2017 - Club Statement

Everton Football Club can confirm that Ronald Koeman has left the Club.

Edit: Someone beat me to it. Great minds think alike and all that. lol

You a happy clapper, Bro?

We've been playing gut wrenching football for years now.
Why do we keep blaming the managers?

Hi Sam

Yep, but I meant as in established themselves and turned the 'top 4' into a 'top 6'.

In 13-14, we finished 5th and I'm sure they were in 6th.

In 14-15, they finished 5th.

15-16 3rd, 16-17 4th?
