He went downhill at Watford after apparently we showed him a bit of leg.I doubt that was the reason now.

New managers are appointed mostly in dire circumstances. With the possible exception of Big Sam, I have never claimed later not to have wanted somebody. Even Mike Walker was appointed with general approval and hope, and look where that ended. The people who run the club are not fools, nor do they have crystal balls. Mistakes are more common than successes, certainly in our case anyway. Liverpool have appointed their share of failures, comparatively that is, since they have bottomless pots of money behind them. All we can do is tread water and hope the tide turns. If it does not in a reasonable time, say the end of next season, then Silva joins the list of failures.

It takes time to build a winning squad, Silva needs more time...

No surprises we are struggling here as we need more personnel...

Team took an up surge when we got, Richarlison,Bernard,Digne & Gomes however we need 4/5 more players to improve our squad & first team to create competition for places.

A Striker is essential as we rely to heavily on Richarlison & Sigurdsson to score our goals....

Midfield needs bolstering & right back as well as another attacking winger...

Silva should be judged on next season finish position & not knee jerk reactions or hasty one season judgements...

Yes we need more players but our current first team is easily capable of much better than this.

Was just wondering when Watford punted him.

Silva was dismissed by Watford on 21 January 2018, with the club citing the "unwarranted approach by a Premier League rival" that caused "significant deterioration in both focus and results to the point where the long-term future of Watford FC has been jeopardised".
