Poster makes an actual credible post based on facts and not blind faith

HA HA DER BANTZ EEZ MAD INEE LADS

It's not credible though. It's irrational 'suddenly we're crap and Silva is crap' stuff.

Credible criticism would be that we've created a lot of chances that we should have taken, didn't take them, and have made some mistakes at times at the other end. We're close to having a very good outfit, but just need a few more tweaks. It's four months into a massive rebuild.

Something like that would be credible, not 'Mid table managers get mid table' etc.

But it can't be 'not looking too clever' when we're literally within one win of being 7th/6th, that was my point.

Where one team in a cluster of 5-6 who are going for 7th, potentially 6th. That's just where we are as a club at the moment. Hopefully by the end of the season, we've put a gap between us (in a positive sense).

But we should not be in that cluster with the money spent.

Until fans get their heads around the fact that in the last 2 seasons we are spending closer to Arsenal and Spurs than Watford and Bournemouth they'll never accept we are underperfoming.

I think we can forget about 6th now, Toff.

I have seen enough of post Jose United in twenty five minutes to know that ship has sailed with EFC, as ever, left on the dock waving goodbye :(

United may well put a gap between us Khal but don't think these players will work hard for OGS for long either.

I do think they'll finish 6th, but I don't think it'll be by too much...

He is a mid table manager.

He got the job based on 9 games managing watford.

If that doesn't tell you the ambition of the club nothing will.

Main thing Silva has to do is focus everything on the FA Cup, if we finish out of the top 8 least we won't have to play in Europe next year, there's always a positive

Yes, we should. Because Wolves spent £100m. West Ham spent £120m. Leicester spent £70m. I could go on...

We are FOUR MONTHS into a rebuild. We've seen us go from creating the second lowest amount of chances to the 4th most (IIRC).

We've seen us go from the oldest team in the league to one of the youngest. We've seen us transform our playing style and play with pace and verve.

Yes, we've messed up at times, a lot due to not converting sitters that our playing style has created, and sometimes by the clear holes in our squad/team being shown up. Luckily we're not even halfway through the season and there's a transfer window coming up where - based on the summer - we'll know exactly what we want.

He got the job based on his previous managerial experience at Estoril, Sporting and Olympiacos as well. Heck, he came in and nearly got Hull staying up having transformed their play as well.

Oh and credible criticism is the following:

0 wins against the top 6
0 wins against Bournemouth, Watford, Wolves and West Ham who are above or level with us in the table.

Dropped points to Newcastle and Huddersfield

Out the League cup at the first hurdle

THEY ARE FACTS PAL.

I get it, your a glass half full guy who if you found another man in bed with your wife you would compliment her on the size of his manhood. I respect that and your beliefs that we'll improve as a side and acheive under Silva.

I hope your right but I dont beleive we will and II'll defend my right to beleive that as you believe yours. ;)

Come on Toff, you should know by now that no player or manager's records outside of the PL count for anything on this forum. Hell, half the time they didn't exist before they came to Everton.

Actually, I believe his team at Olympiakos beat Arsenal in London.

I've said to Goat countless times mate I cant fault Moshiri on his spending.

But when he comes out with guff like "expected losses" and appoints mid table managers time after time surely we have to question the ambition?

Well if you cannot see the contradiction right there, I cant help you, superfan. Pal.

People need to remember we have played all of the top 6 away from home up until Tottenham tomorrow. We went for all of the games apart from the City one where we experimented a bit. We could have easily won 3 of them with a bit of luck and composure.
