Really could have done with a win tonight. We probably all got carried away through thinking our performance at Anfield on Sunday was special, that´ll be down to the low bar we have set down the years.

This is going to take time and the team overall is definitely lacking in areas. We aren´t good enough at breaking teams down. Newcastle are a really poor side who we should be beating comfortably.

...we’ve struggled to break teams down who defend deep. Our game is geared to getting in behind, when that isn’t happening we need to play with tempo to drag defenders around and create space.

Rome wasn’t built in a day.

All of our attacking outlets are good but they aren´t at that top level to rinse sides like Newcastle tonight. I wouldn´t say they´re a fantastic defensive side either. They´ll get picked apart throughout the season.

Been impressed so far but he's doing nothing to address the God awful set pieces and his occadional experimenting of Tosun or DCL up top isnt working so why go back to it?

Also dissapointing how he takes forever to make subs. Walcott and Bernard should have been on at 60 mins.

We seem to constantly go wide, no body making darting runs or we haven’t go anyone good enough to find them.

Unfortunately we are poor out wide, digne crossing and passing was poor today Coleman his usual self, making wrong decision. Lookman, Walcott Richarlison were also very average.

We need more goals out wide and obviously a striker too. Siggurdsson wasn’t s great tonight either.

Problem is passing at tempo requires a level of techinque beyond A number of our players particularly Gueye, Coleman & Walcott.

They are all good players technically they all need to take a touch & set themselves before moving the ball this gives the opposition the time to get back into shape.

We are moving forwards I’m not going to complain too much.

People saying we are moving forward but are we really?

Level with Bournemouth

1 infront of Leicester

2 infront of Brighton

If Utd were at their normal level and 9 points+ above us with Arsenal we would be scrapping for 7th.

If we don't bring in a top centre forward and RW we wont do anything this season.

..Sigurdsson looked sluggish but he kept on popping up in threatening positions. We go outside because it’s our out ball but everything is a bit laboured. Newcastle were comfortable and I agree there was a lack of movement centrally.
