The deals seem to be agreed with clubs etc and just a matter of player deciding.

Our midfield is terrible and has been for ages. Schneiderlin and Gueye are terrible midfielders and most of the rest are injured or kids. Besic is the one we should be building a new midfield around. I’m hoping Silva doesn’t do what Allardyce and Koeman did and go for the easy option of Gueye Schneiderlin which looks good on paper but is actually awful.

Malcolm is going for around a similar price. Willian may go for 70 Mill. Martial’s price will be huge. Ousmane Dembele went for 90 million. If Brands and Silva think that Richarlison can get to this kind of level then 40 Mill is a good deal.

Completely different levels of competition though. If it was that easy to pick up gems then everyone in the league would be doing it. If Richarlison turns into a 80mill player that is sold to Real Madrid or City because he’s hit over 20 for us and got into the Brazil team will it look like a bad signing?

Dortmund bought dembele for like 20mill max he scored 6 league goals and they sold him for like 90million

People just like moaning, its really boring to be honest.

If both Silva and Brands really like this player and Silva has first hand knowledge of working with him why not go for him?!

After a few years of spinning through managers Silva will get time with me, Im excited about the season and see how we do.
