I agree with this but Since he left we are still waiting for a new type of manager to progress fulfill our ambition. I don’t we will be seeing on in the foreseeable either.
Tosun makes Jagielka look like Linford Christie he's that slow.To be fair though I don't think any of our 'strikers' would have given Van Dyke any trouble.

I meant the physicality of him. Just keeping him busy and being a handful.
Harry Catterick was also very dour Steve, but a good manager. I am not sure personality type is the sole differentiator on managerial ability.

Reading his comments today on Walcott and I still don't see why he's getting a start.
Lookman hasn't taken his chance but still hasn't been given anywhere close to the opportunities Walcott has. If he finally leaves this summer I won't be surprised. I'd want out too if Walcott was starting ahead of me for reasons not even the manager can identify.

Walcott gets picked because his pace gives us an out ball and keeps the opposition defense on guard. If Lookman had a bit of pace in his locker, he'd have probably got more opportunities.
