I honestly couldn't care less win lose or draw tomorrow.

The club have turned the lights out for the rest of the season and I wouldn't blame the fans one bit if they stayed away considering how poor we are at present.

Poor manager
Poor players
No centre forward
Ownership reigning in the spending
DOF asking for crazy fees for players who we'll never be able to ship

The only game Im really bothered about is the derby in the hope that we stop them winningthe league which is just a sad indictment of this club.

He was the first one to suss this seasons Chelsea out; up until we played them they (and Jorginho) were imperious, unbeaten and could have gone top that day and since that game they’ve gone downhill markedly.

I am not a fan of Silva’s rigid adherence to this 4-2-31 nonsense, but he genuinely did something impressive there.

He really must lead the team and win at home against Wolves.

can you please explain what you have seen in silva tactically and organisationally throughout the season to make you think that he is a good manager who will succeed at everton please ??

Plays on the front foot but lacks quality on the right side or centre to really switch things around and mix things up.

Hes hamstrung playing this 4231 nonsense as we dont have the correct players in the centre, he's like Pep or any other top manager would be with only a few decent players who want to win and have the right quality and attitude.

Its quite plainly obvious that he's doing his best with so much rubbish in the squad and yet sometimes i wonder how/why some posters seem to think a manager can magically turn dross into a top team...beggars belief and just shows me that these posters have never held management roles in their lives.

Its quite bizarre how posters cant get behind the team or manager at times and just want change but then dont want to change players or back the manager.

Thats the difference with the mentality of the RS when they support a new manager going through a bad patch (like Klopp did) and a number of our fans who want to infect the fan base with snide remarks and constant negativity.

Some positivity would go a long way.

We are not as bad as some are claiming, but we have to get rid of the current tactics because they are garbage. It’s his job to do it, and he needs to.

Probably, but it hadn’t been up to then.

Certainly hadnt and i watched the game with a Chelsea mate. He couldnt believe how easy we had it and the chances were fairly decent for us in that we could have won

The next few games other managers were heralded for stopping Jorginho when as we both noticed, it was Silva who initially out strategised Sarri.

you are just exhibiting the extreme opposite of negativity. Extreme positivity and believe Silva is 100% doing a good job and no improvement from him is needed.

Thats fair and i think we saw the type of style change against Huddersfield. However anyone looking at Coleman at right back or Keane in the centre with Gana/Gomes in front will know they only need to presd Gomes and theres 3 players who arent technically sound enough to play on the front foot

Indeed, and that’s why Holgate being loaned was so daft. Put him in a three with two of Zouma / Keane / Mina and I think we would look better. I even think Galloway as part of a three would be an improvement on the current situation.

its quite obvious to me, he can not coach for crap. he cant work with players and make them better.

Realism is players and manager both share the responsibility. Not excusing one party as if he is immune to any bad decision. Any person in any management role ought to understand this. Not every organisation will acquire the best of condition and tools to work with. You then hire a manager to make sure he squeeze the best out of whatever he has. Right now we are simply not at our best level.
