I can imagine it now as the tears of sorrow turn to tears of joy as we steal a late equaliser to earn a point at Huddersfield.
And at Goodison park new manager Bill Kenwright gives his players an inspirational post-match briefing after a creditable draw against Huddersfield:

“A wonderful performance darlings....”

Gabriel Heinze in the summer is who we should be going for. His teams platy attractive football and are well set up defensively.

He was top choice for Boca recently but has 6 months left on his contract and would not break it.

Along with Beccacece, they are are the two stand out young coaches in Argentina but Heinze has the language skills and knows the culture and the league.

But is a red... a double red at that

Surely he is even more of an outside longshot than Marco?!?

I could handle silva having the odd blip if we had seen some progress this year. The frustrating thing is our performances have gone backwards.

If silva goes then all the other options are gambles. We need someone to build an identity again - I imagine brands will have his own ideas - but looking around it’s hard to pinpoint an outstanding candidate... personally I like the look of what Eddie Howe has done at Bournemouth - can he translate that and progress at a bigger club? Debatable.

Years of mis management through the club are coming home to roost. We have ridiculous amounts of deadwood to ship out whilst also needing to progress quickly with new signings. It’s a tough job...

Eddie Howe lasted about 6 weeks at Burnley and pissed his knickers as it was too far from home for him and his family to settle.
