we have to get behind him now, we have seen how bad it can be by having big sam. hopefully this is the right step in the right direction. both Brands and Silva will start day 1 together and they will have a plan

I also liked that in the video from the off he said "our club" which Koeman never did, things like that will help gel with the fans

Marco will probably be a case of right manager right time. We have Lookman and Walcott at the club, so counter attacking footy is probably our best bet. As badly as I wanted Paulo, I’m not sure we could have flourished with his style.

..it’s a partnership, I haven’t a clue if they will be a success but Brands/Silva sounds a lot more progressive than Walsh/Allardyce.

Silva will never match Big Sam for the number of insulting remarks about his appearance, habits etc. He is just, well quite handsome. Some on here will be tongue tied, or rather lost for words for at least a few months into the season.

Wish Marco all the best and sure Brands behind the scene will ensure defensive set up will be arranged too as well as free flowing football going forward ;-) Will be interesting few weeks now seeing who's out and in for players ;-)

I have major reservations about this hire, but Ill put them aside and support him 100%, wish him well, and very much hope that Im terribly wrong on him an he turns out to be a world beater!
