True - but he has a cup-final to prepare for. That's why there's no noise. Once it's out of the way I expect him to bang his resignation in on Sunday and jump an easyjet shuttle to Liverpool. (Do easyjet fly to Buenos aires)?

Exactly this. All the other ‘jumps’ in the betting order have been caused by spurious media reports , this one wasn’t.
That leaves some form of betting market manipulation or ..........
In any case he’s the one who fits Brands expectations most closely out of all the names doing the rounds so far.
Likewise ,along with possibly that Jesus bloke, he is the appointment that I would most like to see.

Just been reading up on him. Has got a pedigree and knows how to set up his teams and style of play as well as having foresight to alter tactics during the game if things aren't working. Seems too good for us!
