I was initially very hesitate about the idea of Bielsa, not because of him as a manager, but the seeming lack of compatibility with of our squad and his ideals. However, giving it some thought, he does have experience in getting out the championship. I can’t see him getting the squad into shape to stay up this season. but I can see him having a good half a season to get players fitter, more organised and identify the cancers we have rooted in the squad. The long term plan being we inevitably go down but will be in a good place to start next season on all cylinders.
