Apparently Moshiri is a gifted accountant. More importantly, he's one of those gifted accountents prepared to lower themselves into the murky depths of oligarch ownership of former state assets.
These are not savoury people we're in bed with.
I certainly would agree that in generally Premiership football clubs have attracted a type of owner that would not have been as acceptable or maybe welcome before the start of the Premiership era.
However, I don't believe we are better or worse than most other clubs, certainly no worse than the owners of the bigger more successful clubs.
This was always going to happen when you look at the money involved.
The capital gains are enormous and if an owner can make the club a success then not only will it be self funding but profitable as well.
This scenario was always going to attract people more interested in profit than anything else.
The powers that be opened that Pandoras box long before Moshiri arrived.
