Oh I'll stop any of the fun stuff and be pure second-season Martinez raging daily if that ginger sweat is appointed.
 
If he's got any bollocks, any real want to have power here, he best be demanding that this Moyes situation is another short-term answer and he's picking the next boss.

He never wanted Silva. He absolutely, surely, doesn't want Moyes.

Let bollocks have the next six months, but guarantee he's going regardless. He has six months to find his man – SIX MONTHS. Enough time.

I hate moyes, and the fans who want him back disgust me. The short sightedness to look at a crap start to the season and panic every time about relegation that you’d actually want that guy back. Just get one of the other 100s of managers that would easily keep us up. I still maintain Silva would do so also and then we can boot him out and send him rolling out the gates on one of Davies skateboards
 
Silva was never to be the one to really make a success of this. He was to turn things in the right direction, coaching in line with the long term plan for the squad and the recruitment.

he hasn’t even half done his planned job and has made a mess of it.

so we still don’t need that amazing appointment that will make the real impact.

we just need a decent manager who will fit whatever long term plan we have for the squad and can see out another 18mths and get us top 10 while we continue to turf out crap players and get better ones in.

that should be an easy enough appointment. There’s no excuse for getting the wrong coach just to “save” us.

then in 18mths we go for the big one.

No DoF with credibility could or should wear an appointment of a manager for any period of time.

...and there's no way Moytes would agree to the next 6 months and that's it. No chance. He'll be looking to get assurances that if he gets to a certain position - top half maybe - he'll get 2/3 years.

Brands has to stop this happening. If not, he has nothing.

nonsense Goat.

At worst we need a mid tier manager that will just settle things and will work with Brands within whatever framework he is supposed to have in place. For a season and a half at most whilst we continue fixing the squad.

we can definitely find somebody from mid tier up that half the fan base won’t despise and won’t have plenty of the fan base switching off.
