Looking at his history won't tell me that though will it? If I look at it with a pre-conceived bias of what I want to see it might help me confirm it, but it won't objectively tell me anything, because I'll have no idea of the full circumstances, the others involved, the finances etc.

As I said, I'm not saying he's doing a good job or a bad job on the whole, because I simply don't have enough information to have the faintest idea. What I find odd is people who are so desperate to proclaim that he's fantastic, and will act in certain ways, when they have absolutely no evidence to support the idea.
The fans called for Cocu head after a disaster of a season but he kept him and they won the league the next season..

I’m not saying Silva will stay but he’s not knee jerk

I’d say his hand is forced regardless. The crowd has turned. There’s no way back for Silva. It’s going to be toxic at the next home game.
Brands can say he’s not knee jerk but once the crowd has gone it’s action time.
I’ve been thinking about this logically and this is probably Close to what’s happened.
We beat Southampton and they probably thought, finally won the away game the corner turned, then Norwich happened which was totally unexpected as was the fan reaction.
They then sat down and said right if we sack Silva who can we get and when, in the mean time what do we do? Brands has probably given his list and time line of which he can get 1 of them in maybe next week, maybe a few weeks.
So If we sack Silva while we wait for said replacement who do we put in charge? Unsworth? He struggled terribly last time. We also got a bad run of fixtures, two away games in a week.
well for now we will keep Silva while we find his replacement

I don’t no that as a fact it’s just my thinking. They think it’s better to keep Silva in for The 2 games then Unsworth or rush a new manager who they may not want

Squad better then it’s been in quite a while with some very good players. All who are under performing. He also bought very well in Mina,Digne,Richarlison,Gomes and Bernard.

he can’t help the fact the club wasted
45 mil on Sigi
25 mil on M Keane
5 mil + 125k a week on Sandro
25 mil on Tosun
25 Mil on Walcott
25 mil on Snides
Gave Mirallas a new contract

150 mil wasted not including wages

non of that is his fault and he slowly sorting it
Gbamin, Delph, Iwobi, Kean - all poor
Gomes - ok
Digne - very good
Bernard - bang average
Richarlison - ok
Mina - bang average

To be threatening top 6 (which is what he's here to achieve
only one of that lot are good enough. The rest are either too inconsistent or below par standard wise.

:coffee: back to work Dave.

Very much so, but he’s out the loop a little bit now - and he’s very very bitter about it.

Just look back over the past few months, everything he writes is sticking the boot in and having a go.

He still gets info, but he’s no longer the top dog he was.
I've had plenty to say about Brands's performance being lacking in some areas, but there's definitely a hit job being done on him at the moment.

Obviously, it's impossible to prove Kenwright's involvement, but Parry getting in on the act is enough for me.

the fact is you're calling most of them players poor because of who signed them, you are an absolute lunatic for calling kean and gbamin poor players given they haven't played

if bobby brown shoes at signed them you would have wet undies over them

Gbamin played 135 minutes of that and been injured, Iwobi is very good despite being constantly played out of position.
Mina been our best player this season
Richarlison scored16 goals last season and you think he’s “OK”?? The mind boggles
