Gomes,Gbamin,Delph,Kean,Iwobi & Lossl is not bad to be fair....

The only critisism from me is a recognized striker should have been our No 1 target...

Think you are wrong about Iwobi, time will tell. Delph is a versatile capable player, all squads need a decent quality player who can give cover in a couple of positions.
We got at best 'decent' in.

Kean is the standout signing. The rest I wouldn't have taken. We settled for less than or about the same as we had already. There's no point in lauding Brands good first summer if we're just going to wave through the standstill / retrograde transfer windows.

Deflecting Dave? I made no comment here about the window in general, or Brands’ performance therein, I merely said that I believe you have been too quick to moan about the Iwobi or Delph signings and as I said ‘time will tell’.

But it is in that context, given this is the Brands thread.

The Delph signing will likely remain a poor signing because of his injury record; Iwobi - maybe he'll find Everton to be his club, I dont know. I'd try him in Sigurdsson's postion at the moment, for sure. But I look at his record at Arsenal as part of the attack and I'm not impressed.

Hopefully I'm wrong on both.

What don't you like about Gbamin? That was a remarkable price for him.

Let’s see what happens these players have hardly set foot in the club and last years signing were all ticks in my opinion.

Hopefully you are Dave, as I say ‘time will tell’, in much the same way as it will with Yeri Mina, he looks a bit better than 15 mill at the moment.
