But I am a realist who likes to evaluate things rationally. The blind faith on here reminds me of people who believe in a certain religion.

Difference is, this club could produce miracles/magic for us with the millions pumped into it. I am just not seeing how we are gaining ground on the top 6 clubs in the country never mind the top 4?

Are people so apathetic that 7/8th makes people feel good?

Last 5 seaons how many points we have been off 4th/6th = 17/12...16/14....15/8.....19/16.....23/15....

What's 'nil progress'? We walked down such a blind alley with Koeman we ended up with the straining waistband of rather large Samuel. That has taken some fixing.
We've had seasons of dross so to want immediate return is a bit of an ask. It's more to do with patience and direction.
As long as we are making efforts to move forward then it's up to us to show patience and above all, support.
We're Everton, I understand some struggle with optimism, but if you don't have any, seriously, what's the point?

Last season left it late but got in gomes and zouma as there clubs were trying to shift them.

This time it's the opposite palace have the bissaka money and don't need to sell and Watford don't need the money.
