This is the thing that really concerns me. Koeman hadn’t been offered a new contract by Southampton. We come in & they somehow hardball us into paying compensation. Walsh the same. We then pay 12x what Ashley Williams is worth. Bolasie, Klaasen, Sigurdsson.... Allardyce held out for an 18 month contract...

this is the way everton do business....no idea. even brands to be fair, i doubt anyone really knows anything about him except hes a DoF at a semi successful team from a two bit league. and we will pay for him

Could be with the mini disaster this season Moshiri is willing to give him more money, leeway with his role, etc ...

what sensible, well run club would want any sort of distractions before you've completed your goal?
obviously we havent experienced anything like that in over 20 yrs
