He might as well just take leave for the remainder of his last 12 months.

He’s got next to no chance of shifting any of the remaining deadwood we have in this team to free up wages.

Average wage of atletico madrid players. 35-50k. Bar a few big hitters in their team.
Thats atletico madrid playing in the Champions league tomorrow.
Bernard is on higher wages than 80% of them.

myself and Goat have disagreed on many things over my short time on here but this is something I can agree on.

Marcel has already reduced our wage bill to 148 million by getting rid of that extra month in our financial accounts in 2020, well done.

You have to replace them though.... sound get rid of all the crap but you still need to reinvest it in other player who are actually good?
Yeah, herein lies the problem, I wouldn’t trust Brands to run a whelk stall. The director of football model will always be redundant, if we have a second rate commander.

@GwladysBlue backs up your theory about an cull before a sale

Isn’t that’s what’s up with this club?
DBB is on our board and she spends her weeks making sure we are the Green Party or football
I mean we spend all the footballing cash on crashing and burning but everything else we spend on trying to make the world a better place. As @Nymzee said, I’m proud of that
