Ask yourself a question: given Brands' time in this country, did he deserve a celebratory peice like the one broadcast?

Well it doesn't matter does it? He didn't make it himself, they will have had to go through the club's PR department to get access to all the players, Ancelotti and Brands (presumably they put a gun to all of their heads to make them say nice things about him)… If he's on the skids and will be gone in the summer, why would they bother?

The Architect.

FFS, what a misnomer.

In my book yes, done more good for this club simnce he joined than RM, RK BFS and Walsh. Who singed Matina, Sandro, Besic, Niasse, plus thje other bits still hanging around.

Maybe they should have interviewed Wim Kieft for the Sky Sports show:

“You don’t expect someone like Brands to blame others for failing players whose talent he misjudged. “He should have just said about Maher and Ramselaar: ‘Sorry, I was mistaken and it cost PSV too much money’. If, like PSV, you have a much larger money bag at your disposal than all other Eredivisie clubs apart from Ajax, then it is still easy to shop. Talent recognition is sometimes difficult, but not with PSV’s budget. Now, for the second year, Brands is with Everton, a major club from the Premier League. With a turnover of almost €215m, Everton is seventeen of the richest clubs in the world. Nevertheless, the presence of the Dutch technical director Brands is by no means a guarantee of success. Although he can buy almost any player that he wants and has attracted many players without producing results."

You've missed the point. Again.

It's not about who broadcast it, but why it was done and broadcast.

If it's a PL magazine show then they can be requested to do a story. We all know the club owners have always had an accommodating relationship with the league and their media, and vice versa. Myers, in particular, would have been influential in oiling a few media wheels.

Bottom line is that the piece was not justified. Regardless of what he did and didn't do with PSV, he's been on balance a poor addition to Everton's set up, and his control over the club is tenuous.

lol lol lol

The only influence Myers has at either Everton or in any media these days is when they ask him how many sugars he wants in his tea while he's waiting outside in the cold!

He's not your "source" that you "suggested" you claimed to have in the past is he?
