Manuel Fernandes: The Aftermath

90% of me says Fernandes can stay at Valencia.

But 10% of me says if we could get him on a reduced price AND reduced wages than what he would have originally received, it may very well be worth it in the long run.

In addition, I'd require him to apologise to mangement, the players, and the supporters for dropping us in the grease like that.

If he was willing to accept all of that then yes, I think I'd be willing to take him back.

If he buys himself out of his three party ownership and gets a new agent and publicly apologises for being led astray then he still [Poor language removed] off.

He's a young guy and if he admits he made a mistake I'd take him for 3-4 million or on loan.

Not for me.

Our desperation to see an improved the midfield have made evertonions refer to his arrival as something close to the second coming of the messiah... but apart from the celebrated showstopping moments of skill, I think his aquisition was a fairly big risk - based on the price tag and the question marks around his attitude and consistancy.

And after what happened, he can F8ck right off unless its a swap deal for phil neville and a meat pie. He made his bed now lie in it.

I really think there are other, better options - maybe not lucho but someone like appiah. Also, man city dug up some class players this close season, lets look for a petrov or an elano before we go back to lining the pockets of fernandes' cronies

Good points there.

He made his bed, now he has to lay in it.

any rats, scorpions and such like to put in the said bed! Remember he went from GP to the airport having promised DM and BK he'd sign for us, he is a Judas and should be treated as such.

I suspect that Valencia have found out that he goes missing in matches, what a shame.

Move on... we can get someone better with 12 million.... can we? Still trying to get over 11 million we spend on yak.

buy yohann gourcuff from ac milan, hes upset cos hes not getting enough games, and hes a great centre/att. mid...

All this fernandes hype...people need some perspective, he showed flashes of brilliance, but most of the time he didnt get involved much, fair enough he had some great passes, but in his overall team play he was more inconsistent than mcfadden!!

Agreed Dom, he went literally on walkabout far to often for my liking. I wonder if DM had told him that his fitness levels needed uping thats why he suddenly jumped ship, tosser no matter which way you look at it he can sod off:o
