Rumour has it that he's unsettled at Valencia and was the recipient of racist slurs against Real Betis (you know the monkey noise ones.). According to his wiki he's already unsettled in Valencia, now I know that you can't believe anything that has been written in wiki but lets say its true for the sake of this debate.....

Would you have him back?, I personally would despite the fact he's been a [Poor language removed] and turn-tailed on us our midfield is a shambles at the moment and the sooner we can sign someone up that can pass the ball the better.

It's a shame that it hasn't worked out for him. It's a difficult one because obviously we're all fans of the club so would sell our grannies to put on the blue shirt. Players that aren't fans are probably more calculating in their choice of club and on paper Valencia are a bigger club than us at the moment. The events surrounding his move however have probably spoiled any relationship he had with the fans here so I'm not sure too many would welcome him with open arms.

I guess it boils down to how you view footballers, whether club loyalty still exists or whether they're all essentially mercenaries out for what they can get.

Yeah I think i'd have to say no zero, I always thought he was a bit much at that price anyway, and couldnt seem to last 90 minutes.

There are better players than him, so add that to the fact that he treated our club with that level of greed/unproffesionalism then definitely not.

I'm probably alone in thinking I'd love to see him here. he did [Poor language removed] our club over totally. I can just see us finshing 5 places higher up the league with him adding possession and technique to our midfield as well as a few crucial assists and goals.

lucho resigned on a five year deal I think.

we'd probs need money in the region of 20 - 25 million to prise him out.

even if we mustered that (which lets face it we wont), imagine the expectations of the average evertonian.

If he didn't score a hatrick every game, he'd be getting called lazy or fat, or foreign or lightweight or something.

Need to pull a wonder player from europe somewhere. We do have scouts in europe?
