I can see them taking this cup now, Arsenal and Villa Real im not so sure either will be good enough

Thing is a CL team look like winning it, but it's a total crap comp anyway, it's one reason why I pray we miss it as we might get a few rounds but once the CL come in we would be out and have a ruined season for nothing

Man United celebrating winning this, is like them getting relegated from the Prem, then going back up as champions of the second tier.

If this is counted amongst United’s trophies, that will be like counting their 1974 Division 2 title alongside everything else.

It’s just a pointless competition allowing teams not good enough to get into the big one to make some European money. Success is relative and Swansea City’s supporters back in 2013 getting excited about it is a different thing, with United it’s a failure.

I'd say that was more the UEFA since it was clubs who won nothing in it.

Not at all. The CWC was as it says. We didnt get knocked out of one European comp to go into another- in the same season.

Havnt got a clue mate, but I guess the respective leagues might nominate. The main issue is, we didnt get knocked out of one and put in another.

I agree the rules are wrong , but if that is the criteria then what are you supposed to do completely throw the towel , as a United fan its not a massive achievement but yeah we still want to win it , there are only 2 competitions now in Europe not like 3 years ago
