The shame is that these types of performances are such a rarity. A good FA Cup performance is nice but league points are the only thing that counts this season. Still it will buy Frank another chance against Southampton. If we can’t beat them, he’s gone and/or we’re getting relegated.

To be fair like 3 wins in 18 games doesn’t fill one with too much optimism.

We did good against City and then got pummelled 4 - 1 by Brighton. Lose this and it is 1 win in the last 13 games and there were some decent performances amongst them games. Not good enough no matter how well we played tonight. Beaten again.
