Too much criticism of Simms and our midfield in here.

Dyche's tactics are mainly to blame but I understand what he was trying for: nicking a goal before shutting shop. I think he already had it chalked down to a loss before making that tactical decision, which is a bit weak in my opinion.

Expect us to change it up a bit, maybe dropping deeper. We are still in this, thanks to Pickford, what a man.

It really is far less stressful worrying about Everton when you price in a likely defeat.

Was anybody expecting different for this one? Manager lit a touch under their arses recently due to form and they are fired up. It was inevitable

The main issue is the lack of press from the forward and midfield. They wouldn’t be switching it so easily and precise if they were under pressure.

They did have 3 games in 5 days and look much fitter than a well rested crap Everton team. That tells you why Everton will play in the championship next season.
