..the Richarlison central striker strategy is probably more effective away from home but if he reverts to the wing i’d certainly play DCL ahead of Tosun in this type of game.

I dunno, I wouldn't tbh. I mean we all would have preferred tosun running in on goal away at arsenal instead of dcl. I like the kid, but he's still lacking in the bigger games, he seems to wilt a bit in front of goal. I'd keep the same font four as we've started the last two, we won them both and I think that's the way to go away from home.

Bernard is the player we need to start beating the top 6 away, he can't be dropped imo.

..I just think DCL will give United CBs much more of a problem than Tosun. Running power, aerial ability and strength will be key if we’re under the cosh for long periods of the game. I appreciate Tosun is a better finisher.

Nigh on 40 years of supporting Everton have taught me many things...the overwhelming lesson being : it’s the hope that’ll kill you ...
So, that being laid out, we’ll lose this comfortably...

...Everton that.

But, it’s not all doom and gloom. We’ll amass 25 points by Xmas Day....none of them away from home, sadly

..using my benchmark, 25 points at Christmas is a decent enough milestone and would give us a chance of EL.

Agree about DCL
Given time to think in front of goal he seems to freeze
Most of his goals are instinctive first touches or headers

would go unchanged for this to be honest, it's the tough away games the richarlision as a striker will work better, not the home game against hard to break down teams

We do have 5 points from away games already so..................................................................
away games (and points) to date : Wolves (1), B'mouth (1), Arsenal (0), Leicester (3).
compare that motley crew (barring Arsenal who we lost to...as usual) with our upcoming away games:
Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool, City....hmmm,... no, I think I'll stick to my prediction of us get zero points from that lot.

As much as I want to see Mina, I don't think Utd is the right game to introduce him and I think Keane has earned his spot in the team with his recent performances.

Picko
Coleman - Keane - Zouma - Digne
Gomes - Gana
Walcott - Sigurdsson - Richarlison
Tosun
Accept we'll play on the counter and need that pace out wide. Gomes for balance, Gana for play breaking, Richarlison back on the left. Mola, Bernard and DCL for second-half super subs.

Absolutely right, Mina needs game time before we go to Chelsea in November when Zouma will be ineligible, but Sunday away against this lot is not the time for him to start just yet!

Quite looking forward to this, they're very ordinary at the back and we'll get chances. Just have to take those chances.

.......................Pickford
Seamus .....Keane Zuma ......Digne
...........................Gana
Sexy Portuguese Man.........Iceland
Rico................Small much-tattooed Brazilian
......... ..................DCL
