Absolutely mental isn't it? The nature of the concert tonight would suggest there will be loads of kids and families there. Imagine being a dad sat at home, seeing the news breaking and seeing that crap. Unreal

It's sickening but, news saying emergency services responding to 'serious incident'
FFS, hope anyone from here and everywhere else is ok.

It's been declared a major incident a casualty bureau has been set up by GMP.

Suzy Mitchell, 26, whose flat is opposite the venue, reported a huge bang rocking the neighbourhood. She told the Press Association: "(I) just heard a huge bang from my bed, came out to the front of my apartments (we're on the top floor so have perfect view) and everyone was running away in big crowds.

"The bang was so big I heard it from my room which is at the back of the apartment blocks.

"Currently lots of emergency services going to and from. But can't see anything substantial as of yet except fleeing people and lots of cars."

100% this. Speculation is just as bad during times like these.

Then you get accounts pretending to be journos from major news outlets saying 'can we give you a call' etc to people.

Weird old world.

Just seen that GMP tweet. Christ.

People just love to spread fear and scaremonger.

Sad world we live in. Hope it's as reported just a speaker and very minimal if zero casualties.
