I am sick of all this "we've stopped this attack" nonsense.. What we should be doing, but they are too craven to do it is:

Monitor EVERYTHING - social media, phones etc. AND DO IT WITHOUT anyone's approval AND WITHOUT TELLING US "we might do this" or "we might do that". JFDI
Take out people - by whatever means - without press coverage - JFDI
STFU and do the job.. no warnings of "imminent this" or "imminent that" - stay 2 steps ahead of these b*stards. JFDI

Several eyewitnesses saying it happened outside the foyer, catching early leavers and people waiting for their friends/families.

Ive just been reading the concert was over running by 9 minutes, if true, the death toll would have been massive.

This is all understandable at a time like this, but there is loads of evidence that everything you describe doesn't actually work - it is massively expensive, takes people and resources away from monitoring the real threats, and just drives these people underground where they are much harder to get at.

If this is an attack by the usual suspects, then there is a response to it that needs to happen and it must not be the same response that we usually come up with after atrocities of this kind.

RIP to the 22, sickening that this would be done deliberately.
