It´s a very difficult one. I´m all for giving managers time but when it´s so blatantly obvious it won´t work then what´s the point in carrying on? I don´t think we´re quite at that point yet but it isn´t far off.

In my eyes there´s nothing to play for this season but Silva has to get the players believing there is. He needs at least show something in the last 15 games that tells us he´s worth persisting with. If we perform like this between now and May, he´s a dead man walking come August.

Think more it’s just a statement to get comments myself.

His appointment with Brands was good, his appointment of Silva not so good.

Please see Spurs before Poch and look at Levy

Please see Watford, about 10 managers in 6 years, Chelsea, Leicester.....

I agree the set piece defending is atrocious. He does need to drastically improve but I would give him this season and see how our next season is panning out before we look at replacing him. our 2 most successful mangers in my lifetime (in terms of league positions) were all given far greater time to build even though at times it looked like they were dragging the club into the mire. the only way we will progress to a potential challenging for honours club is if we give some manager at least 5 seasons to build. I am not saying Silva is the man but the way we are with managers at the moment it will never be achievable

I actually thought Koeman was a good appointment until I noticed he didn’t care, just there for the money

Fat Gravy Train did what he was employed to do, keep us up, and we might need him again this season...

Think Silva appointment was poor but was looking forward to be proved wrong.

Would you have preferred we kept going with Kenwright?

Never been as disenchanted or demoralised with Everton as I am now.
It's been growing with a while though.
We have lost our identity as a football club. The passion from the fans is not there because we have grown accustomed to mediocrity.
We are now a Watford, Bournemouth West ham type of a club. Just plodding along admiring the big boys and pretending we are relevant. We are cannon fodder to them and a soft touch to the rest.
We hardly have one player the fans unite behind who epitomises what the club is all about. Coleman brings the passion but unfortunately his not a top player any more.
It's sad to see and harder to stomach.
I'm irish with a link to one of the greatest players the club ever produced.
Travel over around 5 times a season to ganes. But currently that seems more like a chore then anything else.
The fans who go to every game home and away deserve so much more.

I agree. If it looks like it is heading that way then we have to look at the situation again. The only thing I would suggest with replacement managers is that we seem to be going from one style to another Moyes to Martinez, Martinez to koeman, koeman to allardyce, allardyce to silva and this is I feel why we seem to be at groundhog season every year. If we replace silva it would be better trying to find somebody who has a similar style but more effective if you know what I mean.

I think we will. The Allardyce thing was a panic move but with no long term intentions. He's so mad at us because we played him into thinking we would keep him for the second year if he did well but that was never going to happen. I think the intention is to pass the ball and control games because simply that is how you win things.
