Agree. If we are only 4 points off safety with 4 games to go and Newcastle are behind us. They would be much better off with Rafael in charge.

I wanted this to work but it isn’t and won’t.
it could absolutely happen . this is the scary side of it. our home games are abysmal

The thing with it which worries me. We haven’t got the type of players to get themselves motivated and fight. So we need the manager to get them up for a fight. He doesn’t appear to be that type of motivator. He’s so alike bobby brown shoes. Picks a system and players and won’t change.

Have a look at our remaining home fixtures and tell me where we will get more than 4 points out of them?

And with our away form at the moment we have a real chance that we may finish the season with less than 40 points......

Our run in does worry me. It don't think it has sunk in for many yet that we could easily be dragged into the mess.

That said I don't think we should sack him no matter how angry I am. I would like to think he didn't tell Digne to make the same foul over and over again (weird tactic if so..) and to be honest I don't think it matters who we get in, it will just be the same thing over and over again. We are utterly toxic.

You can be a supporter and critic, all at once. The two concepts are not mutually exclusive.

Recent evidence on display shows that is true; albeit not necessarily a supporter of a successful team.

Mind, you as a fan have zero control over which players are at the club. Your only influence on the club as a fan base is how you respond to your players in times of success and failure. Currently Everton’s fan base provides only negative influence on the squad’s performance.

Take that for what you will and sort yourself out.

Lads who are we seriously gonna get if he’s sacked? Mourinho? Whoever wants him clearly didnt watch his recent United side.

And this type of irrational reaction by the fan base is precisely why our squad struggles when put under pressure to perform. Be club supporters; not critics FFS.

When you have spent thousands watching and following EVERTON it's no irrational reaction but fully justified critique about a team that has no leader's, predictable, can't defend and constantly on the back foot, even against Lincoln! Nowhere near irrational.

Sorry Marco kid, you seem like a smart cool guy.

But like I said in another post, comes with the territory and I have voted you out.

But only because I think we are safe.

I don’t think we should be firing a manager again. But if we do can we please fire up the planes and the banners again? I miss peak Martinez our fever. The paint on the wall, the Baines banner, booing the subs, him telling the fans by taking our best player off every game. Far more entertaining than anything that’s happened since.

Makes no sense to sack him now. However, if we're in the same position (league and cup-wise) in twelve months' time, yes, he should go.

We always knew the post-Koeman and Walsh era would take much more then six months to sort out.

I think the problem with changing the manager so much is we have ended up with a bloated squad and there are players in the squad that can be useful in a certain system, but we don't play that way. I'm not sure brining in another manager would change that. Think we need about 12 players out in the summer and 6 players in. I would rather give Marco till this time next season, than change again right now
