I fancy our defence to be quite resolute here, it’s a real shame we can’t see Gray, Richarlison, DCL and Townsend breaking on counter attacks after they over-commit going forward, would really fancy us with a full team.
Still though, a top through ball to Gray and he’s already shown he can do it on his own.
I think this one depends on how well we can stop Pogba and Fernandes pulling strings and our boys Allan and Doucoure have got what it takes…

These are really underperforming given their squad on paper, is Ole the man to take them forward, it seems he has done what was asked originally and steadied the ship but don't think he can push them on.

They're a side hard to read and on any given day turn up differently. I hope we perform better than that friendly, which I still think playing prem teams in pre season is a bad idea, psychologically they've given themselves an advantage, friendly or not.

Bruno scores a pen and a fk, ronaldo gets one and big slab head scores from a corner.
We'll grab one on the counter through DMarry.
4-1, onto the international break and hopefully come out the far side with a couple of players back

DCL and Richy fit and we get at least a point.

Sadly without both + Coleman its a plucky defeat.

We just haven't enough going forward at the moment to scalp a top 4 side on the road.

If Villa can do it, we certainly can. Lessons will have been learned from the pre season defeat there and we’ll be a different beast on the counter, especially with Townsend and Gray bang in form

Plucky defeat. I feel it in my bones too.
Possible 25 minutes of hope until Fernandez free kick hits Mina on knee bounces to Keane who slices/deflects it past Pickford who had gone the right way.
