Only Everton can do that...so predictable.

As said - Calvert lewin sub was brainless - bring Valencia on as an experienced head who can actually hold the ball up. Moronic from Koeman.

We need to bring players in who are mentally fit to win against these big teams - it's painful how rarely we beat any top six side away from home.

Saying all that - considering the bench we had it was a great effort after Saturday. I thought Holgate was brilliant as well as the two cbs and Barry.

Could see we needed fresh legs in midfield in the end, Davies especially was flagging but too many injuries...

Lukaku and Barkley had the chances to put it out of reach - just not clinical enough.

Two points dropped.

Taking Kev off was a bad sub at least we had a outlet with him on the pitch, Rom was shocking at times and DCL good god the lad couldn't even stay on his feet

didnt say that, already said the 1st sub changed the way we went, get feeling the ref had word in his ear etc by the handshake on the side lines, how many times did everton not get a free kick thats was so blanant it was quite silly,no words for it

Sounds like you are. They had a good goal disallowed wrongfully.

Williams doesn't handball it blatently, no penalty. Simple as that. Can't blame any official for that.

sad thing we were all expecting them to score. poor subs cost us. i would have brought valencia on instead of DCL. needed experience. disappointing but deserved.

All he had to say at half time was "Carry on what you're doing."

Instead straight from the the start of 2nd half we sat back. Barry basically man marks Zlatan, Davies stood off in midfield and then Koeman goes full idiot with the subs and changing of formation.

Mirallas' history tells you there was a good chance of him getting sent off. It's too easy to wind him up (see: Wham last year, Swansea the year before). Not seriously bothered by the sub, sorry.

I thought most of our players played great tonight.

Don't agree with the subs Koeman made as it invited Utd on to us and they looked more dangerous as the game went on because of it.

Thought Robles, Williams, Holgate, Ross, Mirallas, Barry all had great games.

PS. Lukaku seriously needs to compete for balls, it's get tiring watching someone that tall back out of challenging for headers he should be winning against players several inches shorter.
