Finished watching the match.

First off some fantastic goals. Bit disappointed we conceded 4. For me, only one of the goals were thanks to the United brilliance - and that was the 4th goal - it was some fantastic play. The rest, well Neville should have done better for Rooneys first, Heitinga for Wellbecks, and Distin for Nani's.

Any person would have expected Everton to sit back, but if you watch the game and look at the stats, we matched United in every aspect other than possesion. Some great finishes by Fellaini, Pienaar and Jelavic.

The Pienaar goal was probably my favourite, Fellaini man of the match.

Should also be said the referee wasn't good. Very inconsistent

Well that was fun. I don't have any agenda to push about this or that ... it was just a really fun game. Would have been better if we'd won of course but they are a half-way decent side so a draw away isn't the worst result.

You won't like it but your team has gained a lot of respect from us city fans today.

Oh how wonderful! You know it's funny because we've beaten you guys A LOT lately. It seems you give more respect to teams who tie with Man U than teams who beat Man City -- which I guess makes sense since United are a much better team than you.

You won't like it but as soon as you win 7 more league titles (second division doesn't count) you'll gain a lot of respect from us.

...and for the haters, don't worry. If we don't mess up today against wolves, we will mess up one of the remaining 3 games after.

Here's hoping. I don't understand this "now the title is Man City's hands" business. City need to win every remaining game -- Man U need to win some games and can draw in one of them and still win. It's as much in their hands (if not more) than it is City's.

Just got done watching the match...got home too late and it was on too early.

What can I say? Jelavic is the buy of the season, Felli is world class, we are a completely different side with Piennar, and Moyes did himself credit today with the way we set up and the way we never quit.

Probably the most satisfying draw ever.

P.S. I did dream we'd get 5 at OT...was only one off :)

for 28 years Utd attempted to buy the title, and they failed every time. When they did win it finally a great many only cost them what it cost to put them through the academy, sure they have spent big since but their 'recent' success was built on bringing people through as well as the marquees.

Micah Richards in the team as the token local just doesnt cut it with me, and I really dont wanna see mercenaries picking up the gongs.
Maybe part of it is "why wasn't it us" but then if citeh fans hadnt turned into the bellends that they are then I may still have time for them, attempting to converse with mates that are citeh fans is akin to trying to talk to kopites about footy.
I'll probably see a ushoited mate later, and he will give us credit, whereas either of those two and it would be down to the ref, the weather or the feckin sea odyssee.

I can't argue with your point about the way Man U have brought players through the acadamies, Reidy. As i said in an earlier post, i actually like the way they play, they are a joy to watch. I actually enjoy watching Man U play, it's only the infrastructure around the Club that i dislike, including SAF who, despite being a great manager, is an ungracious g*t and a bad loser to boot, plus the fact, as with RS, a lot of their supporters are smug, and also, they get too many dodgy decisions for my liking, so in some way or another they seem to have some of the match officials in their pockets. (Maybe it's not actually that they're being bought, maybe they are just in too much awe, either way it sucks). I also hate the way they get so much revenue from the likes of Sky, which puts other Clubs at a disadvantage. Again, although i can understand people wanting to watch them, why so many games, what goes on behind the scenes?.....

I shouldn't have just wandered over to RAWK. Guess which team they're all toasting right now? Yes, Everton.

We just gave them a big boost in limiting their losses to 19 United titles.

Who in their right ****ing mind wanted that at the start of the day?

WHO.GIVES.A.FCUK

Everton are all that matter.

Great game to watch and we're two points ahead of our neighbours. It doesn't mean much if they grab two cups but it'd be nice and its the only thing we have left to care about since our team are cowardly bottlers when the pressure's on.
