What a player Fellaini was. Loved him in the more deeper role; early days. So comfortable on the ball and rarely a misplaced pass. I honestly thought he'd end up at Barce under Pep - he was that good on the ball, but misused by us in the end in that advanced role because he was tall. Never quite reached the Barce level like; but what a talent, though - could play anywhere, really. The winner vs Utd will likely remain my 3nd fav goal I saw live at Goodison.wel never score 4 there again
Don't let us down?No free hits now Sean. We’ve thrown points down the drain against the lesser sides so it’s time to start making that up now. Don’t let us down.
Strange or not I prefer to play the teams who we're not expected to beat. We will always struggle against teams that put ten men behind the ball. I feel a bit aggrieved that the Nordegard red card wasn't overturned during the match because we stood more chance against them with eleven men.
It's the Wolves game that worries me.
I'm quite confident we'll take a point off themSurely this suits Everton 2024 set up, Mancs with new manager his first home game, players want impress put on a show for the home crowd. Then reality, Dyche as manager kicks in, we know the rest.
wel never score4 thereagain
What’s your prophecy track record like, mate?Had a dream watching the TV and came up, Man u 1 Everton 2 .Get down the bookies and put a bet on.
He was capable of the odd jink of skill that was (vaguely) reminiscent of Zidane, if that’s not too ludicrous a comparison. What a player Fellaini was. Loved him in the more deeper role; early days. Feels like we haven't had a player, nay team, like that for years. So difficult to be inspired by the club and players over the past few years. Really did love that Moyes team circa 2010.
