Too right I would, it’d be amazing!

Get home, have a full traditional roast with a nice glass of champagne, then go for a relaxing dip in my indoor heated pool, nice gentle training day for a couple of hours in the morning, lush massage, then drive my Ferrari home and jump on Fortnite to waste some yank nerds. Sounds amazing.
You've left a couple of women out of the entertainment! 😄

He knows at the very best he is gone at the end of the season regardless. He probably welcome getting sacked now, his team selection, game management, pre/post match comments everything just stinks. The players can also take the stick and do one, they can’t even do the basics right.
Playing 11 in defence who can't kick a ball is a sackable offence

How long is left on his contract? Surely it won’t cost us a huge sum to sack him?

Also, somebody has to be running the club now. Can TFG not just give a quick call to whoever that is and get him gone? Stick baines in as interim or someone like carsley?

Dyche is a problem yes, but he isn’t the whole problem. The players need to take some responsibility and do a better job no matter what formation/team/
tactics they are handed.
Sure the players have to take personal responsibility for their own performances, but ultimately it comes back around to the manager. He's the one who sets the tone every day and every match. If every single game is the same approach every single training session probably is too. The players aren't stupid, they know he's yesterdays man, going through the motions.

How is the the Ireola-bloke no one had heard of needs barely a season to establish Bournemouth in midtable? How Nuno needs a summer to take Forest from relegation fodder to top end of the table 50% of the way to safety in the first 10 games? How do clubs like Brentford and Brighton get into the Prem and go sailing past us with ease. The bottom line is we've hung our hat on a guy who averages 2 or 3 wins every 10 games and who will never change.

Dyche is spent - has to go - but far too many are labouring under the false notion that these players are actually good enough to have us comfortable.

The squad has been run down over the last five years. Burnley players Tarkowski and McNeil are among our better players. Burnley legend Sean Dyche is our manager. Watford's Abdoulaye Doucoure and Methuselah's Ashley Young are among our leaders. Fashion's DCL and Brylcreem's Jack Harrison are among our main attackers.

The squad is not fit for purpose - unless that purpose is to compete at the foot of the table.

they’re better then what we’re seeing

don’t know beyond

It is difficult to see this team and manager getting a win in the near future. I am not sure what they are doing to be honest.

I mean, yeah, try and keep a clean sheet but it you want 3 points you at least have to try and score goals. Beto should have scored. Lewin had a chance. Any others of note. We just don't look like scoring at the moment.

Not inherently wrong, but swap our manager for any of the other 19 in the league at the start of the season and how many of them would have done worse than 11 points from 13 games, with 10 goals scored (joint fewest in the league), with the most long balls played, the lowest possession average, fewest attacks etc etc.

I'm not here to defend this manager. He has to go. But the fact remains: these players might earn a few more points with a better manager - but they'll never earn enough to be worthy of the badge of a truly ambitious club with standards.

Granted, we are not that club right now, but as soon as these new owners come through that door, we have to be.

Most coaches/managers make no difference to results. It’s only a select few who produce results above par. It’s, of course, much easier to do worse than expected!

People need to get away from the idea of being “ambitious.” Just get a good manager in and back him and the results will follow.

It is the idea of ambition that seems to have sunk most clubs in the league and in Europe as they adopt a hire and fire philosophy.

This is correct. As Soccernomics explains.

This is also an indictment of these players. They are hiding behind this failing manager - and the statistical reality that you have outlined above.

United have now beaten Everton 42 times in the Premier League, the highest tally of any side against one opponent in the competition.

Call me old fashioned, but seeing dcl laughing with the 4th official and McNeil having banter with Rashford while down 4-0 just shows zero accountability or competitive spirit. I'm sure the likes of dunc, Timmy Cahill, Leon, etc would have been absolutely fuming and wanting to save some face. Pathetic
