Man mark Bale?

This. Bale is dangerous as he can score completely against the run of play, can make goals out of nothing. Even in his absence himwe still need to control the run of play and still need to be very weary of their attacking options. They have pacey fullbacks and like you said holtby, sigy, and dempsey are all very serious goal threats.

I'll be seriously disappointed if we allow those three to have good games on Sunday. They've all been indifferent at best since signing. I know we're missing two of our key players but Spurs really are there for the taking if Lennon and Bale are out.

Will he play? He was carried off near the end of the Basel match and he didn't look as though he'd dived.

Edit. I'd only read the last page when I posted this. I thought you'd all missed it, or that he was OK.

when it comes to everton I'm a glass half emtpy type of fan....but i've got a good feeling about sunday. Think we've got a real good chance of winning. Like has been said above Spuds will still have some very good players on show but without lennon and bale there will be a serious lack of width. I can imagine Spurs directing a lot of play through the middle on Sunday so if we can stay compact I think we'll have a good chance of keeping them quiet and nicking one at the other end.

so I take it you lot have ruled out man marking Bale. Can't believe some blues have such closed minds

you'll have to work that out yourself sorry.. although have to say if you can't then must be tough to get through the day without tears

not saying you have to work it out, just you don't have to get so tetchy. commenting on something else might be an alternative.
