Man mark Bale?

that midfield doesn't scare me one bit. especially those two out wide, both pretty good attacking midfielders when they get fortunate deflections, but on the wings? nah. hoping coleman and baines rip them, we have to go at them

Holtby doesn't look to have a goal in him. Sigurdsson might be a bigger threat. Central midfield could be quite congested, but that might make more space for our full backs. We've got a good chance of doing them.

i like siggurdson, he's looked average at spurs though. two of him, dempsey and holtby will be out of position and unlikely to track back against two of the in form full backs in the league. i just hope we go for it. spurs play better when teams come at them and they can pick them off with their speed. All 3 of their pace players are out though (expected) therefore we shouldn't have to worry about that

well happy with the now injury crisis at spurs and i hope bale is out for the remainder of the season!

COME ON EVERTON PLEASE TAKE THIS CHANCE FFS!

yes moyes im looking at you!

Holtby looks better suited to playing in front of the back four. If it was me I'd put Dembele on the right, where he often played for Fulham, and Sigurdsson behind Adebayor in the role where he caught the eye at Swansea.

I'd imagine that Sigurdsson and Dempsey would come infield and look to link up with the striker, so it could give us the freedom of the flanks. They have a similar problem to us with breaking sides down. It could be a good opportunity to use the wing back system to deny them space around our box. We could probably afford to hold a higher line because they won't have the pace to get in behind us.

But but... Everton always make us cry when we're think we've got a chance to win a massive game.

Our squad have a weak mentality and it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they went into this game thinking Spurs have all their best players injured and we'll stroll it.

Still expect us to lose.

One thing's for certain - we don't need three centre halves to mark Adebayor.

Dempsey will be a danger though, as will Sigurdsson and you wouldn't rule out Holtby doing something against us. Losing Bale, Lennon and Defoe makes them weaker but they've still got decent players to come in.

This. Bale is dangerous as he can score completely against the run of play, can make goals out of nothing. Even in his absence himwe still need to control the run of play and still need to be very weary of their attacking options. They have pacey fullbacks and like you said holtby, sigy, and dempsey are all very serious goal threats.
