I know we’ve been battered anyway, but we don’t half concede some absolute worldies on a regular basis.

The players don't press enough, far too many times they just back up and allow the shots to happen, if they were putting pressure on the other team they wouldn't be able to line up their shots so easily.

Just an attack would be nice . Totally unrealistic when it comes to Benitez teams but nice .

We had numerous in the first half. Players didn’t execute on it though. How many do people realistically expect us to have against a team like City? We don’t do anything with conviction, this is the result. We either give a manager time to change it, or keep blaming them for why Iwobi can’t pass or shoot a ball.

I mean, if your going to set up like peak Pulis era Stoke, then at least make them look they're fit, well drilled and absolutely up for a dirty battle.

Last season our defense was fairly solid, key to a string of good results mid season. Turned to absolute marshmallow this season.
