Silva was chopping our players all over the place......Negredo should have been pulled up before the goal for going head to head with coleman after his dive. Fernandinho and Toure were immense against 'little Leon'...all they had to do was run past him every single attack through the centre and then pass it forward.

What we were lacking today really was another McCarthy type or a destroyer.....or indeed a Gareth Barry to anchor the midfield.

United has got Moyes, and has been really poo. Tottenham doesnt have Bale anymore, and he got them ALOT of poinst single handedly last season, Chelsea we beat and Arsenal hasnt been all that. They have struggled against ( on the paper) much poorer teams, but got a few lucky breaks. So one or two of them wont have as good seasons as las one.

Leon was not good. Kevin, Ross, Leighton all very poor by their standards. Lukaku does look like a 30 minute player. Coleman was meh. Naismith started well but faded to meh. Kone and Dell Boy ? meh. McCarthy was very good. Distin was outstanding (as usual). Jags was good. Howard was OK.

West Ham 7/10
Newcastle 6.5/10

....we have got work to do fellas!! But we have 31 more games to go.

I will stick up for Kone here. TOO many are ****ging him. Today, he got the chance when we had given up and didnt get much of a change. Earlier this season he has not really been given a chance at all. So please, give him a real chance before ****ging him off. MAYBE he is a poor copy of Anichebe, but please, wait and give him at least a few games to show if he is, or if he is not.

I am actually surprised by how few people are moaning after a defeat. But I guess evertonians realize that city are still a little bit ahead of us.

I agree a little bit on this. with the perfect ref, the contest would be alot closer, and we might have gotten a draw. They would still be the better team overall though, and might have won it even if the ref wasnt a ****house.

It's ok to be annoyed mate.

But the vast majority of our players weren't good enough. Blame them. Not the ref ( not that he was any good like).

Aguero who was played onside because our defence didn't have time to get out after Coleman was standing arguing with Negredo running around the side of Distin and Howard not covering himself in glory.

Never a pen and our RB in the LB area of the pitch means it is his fault not the LB? No but you could argue he was silly to give Zabaleta the chance to go down, and does that mean it's not an Asda employees fault if he punches someone in Tesco?
