According to physio room Gibson and Mirallas will be having late fitness tests and Pienaar is likely to be unavailable too. With Barry also out, if the worst comes to the worst we could be left with:

_________Howard
Coleman Jagielka Distin Baines
_____Heitinga McCarthy
Naismith __Barkley ____Osman
__________Lukaku

(Joel, Deulofeu, Oviedo, Jelavic, Kone, Stones, Gueye)

Will Pelligrini persist with Hart or opt for Pantillimon? Either way, we need to put their 'keeper under as much pressure as possible.

Bookies have us 4/1, 5/2 the draw, City 4/7.

We need Mirallas to play, I've not a clue what to expect honestly, I'll say a draw, or maybe a City win!

"It’s literally like having Pump, Hexalite, Nike Air and Torsion in your MFI wardrobe 1989 and having to choose every time you leave the house". Back to your best Chico!

Tough one to call. Hopefully Toure and Fernandinho being run into the ground last night and not a lot of recovery time with it being the early Saturday kick off will help us secure a narrow victory. I'd be happy with a draw too. Hate getting beat in that early kick off - ruins your entire weekend.

No disgrace in losing this at all. If we lose, we lose. They will beat 90% of their opponents there this year.

We may have a couple of important names out, too. We'll also go for the win whoever we have fit, so if we're unlucky or not at the races it could possibly be a heavy defeat. I don't think we need to worry if that happens though. We've seen enough positives so far to know that we're on the right track. We'll have plenty of time to get over it and get players back and fit over the break.

On the other hand, we're still a quality side capable of winning these games so we could shock everyone and come out of it with three points because we'll genuinely go for it too.

Do you think Coleman and Baines will get up the wings as often? They've got a very strong country attack with Navas and Nasri

...love the old pics. Now here's something, I actually played against Paul Futcher and scored a hat-trick, which shows how good he was. Anyway, memories of Main Road are not very happy so the pic of braziers on the pitch in fron t of that horrible Kippax Stand remind me of Brian Hamilton's disallowed goal. Was there in '66 for the 0-0 draw on the way to the FA Cup so not all bad.
Don't expect anything on Saturday, be made up with a point but would mostly like to see continued progression.
