Love watching Stones and Besic been great this half

....the breakaway run when Lukaku gets in behind the back four, I notice Stones bombing into the box available for the pull back. Besic playing well, Mori is doing fine, Barkley full of confidence.

Besic is better then Macca to be honest.

But I'd love to see them together.

I'm of the belief that Besic has a much better passing range than Mac, and that is needed from the holding role. McCarthy was finding form right before he was injured though, and I would like to see if these two could play together. It could become the best partnership in the league, and it would allow Barkley to keep his attacking midfield role behind the striker.

Very satisfied with how we have gone about tonight. Some really good footy and so pleasing on the eye. We are matching an expensive City side. My only concern is if we do concede are we capable of getting back in it. So far so good. We have a good side that needs that little more belief. Hope we can sneak one. Our defence is spot on with defending and on the ball but I feel a little nervous with our left side. Besic is immense once again.

Besic has taken a big step this season. No foolish tackles and shows great ability with the ball.

If Besic continue with playing better every game and he did not lost a ball I think , not one , can we keep him ?

Besic been playing great, some superb tackles in particular, but he actually has a worse pass completion 86% than Osman 89%
