Man City fails FFP rules, should we complain about UEFA decision?

It does not need a challenge from other clubs, it is possible that as part of the sanctions Mna C could be excluded from the champions league. IF os I think all the other clubs would move up one place.
 

They could be kicked out if they challenge the ruling but only if they do, which Is unlikely

Yes, if for no other reason that it is perverse for the money that makes up the fine to go to FIFA - its not like its them who have lost out as the result of FFP, after all.
 
What about the fine monies going to the team who has missed out on CL as a consequence of the transgressor's FFP transgressions?

When you consider it as the combine cost of Andy Carroll and Javi Garcia, it doesn't seem that substantial haha

Personally think the monetary aspect of the punishment is fine, but to be allowed to still compete in the CL totally invalidates FFP.

UEFA have made it plain that there'll be no European competition exclusions for any club in this first round of FFP sanctions.

Therefore any challenge wouldn't have a precedent to back it.

If 3 years down the line they'd excluded a couple of clubs from competing and the same scenario happened again, but they failed to ban City, then we'd have a case, but at this point it'd just be a waste of time, money and effort.
 
Financial Fair Play is idiotic.
Firstly, If an investor wants to invest his or his company's money into a club, then so be it. They should punish only those who use creative accounting to spend money they dont have, based on borrowing against the club- I.e. Rangers and to a lesser extent Man U!
Those who are proponent's of FFP are the European elite clubs, who dont want anyone else having the ability to join the elite... because it will be at the expense of one of them.
What oil-rich investor will now buy us if they cant spend money investing in the club to make it great again (even if it is to sell at a profit)???
FFP ensures that Everton FC will NEVER be in the European elite again.

There is a precedent though - they banned Malaga, Rayo and some other clubs from European competition this season because of financial issues.
