Man City fails FFP rules, should we complain about UEFA decision?

We are everton. We earn our success on the football field, not the oil field or the field of law. Also, why do we act as sheep and call the European championship the "champions league" when clearly the competition is populated by runners up, not champions? It's time fans started taking control back of the beautiful game.

I'd personally rather see UEFA take stronger action themselves for breaches than other clubs have to complain.

"So Bill, I've heard you're going to complain to UEFA about our settlement? Just a quick warning that we're looking at at buying Barkley, Stones and Coleman. Ok mate? Mate?"

IMO the whole financial fair play is a load of tosh. Who does it really benefit? Well where does the money go they fine city? Uefa is it? Of course it is...the less rich clubs have had the door closed on a rich owner coming in and challanging the elite...stupid stupid rule IMO.

The simple answer to me is NO fines, NO complaints from other teams...simple rule IF they have to have this FFP.

If you fail FFP and you qualify for CL then u simply are excluded from the compitition and your place falls to the next best team.

Everyone knows where they stand!

FFP has turned out to be a complete farce, as expected. It's nothing but tokenism.

The only way this situation could be redeemed is if a European ban follows next season, but I just don't see it. This is as much punishment as any club will face.

Legal challenges would be a waste of effort.

Why the hell not? The ruling is corrupt as hell. Spend money as punishment for spending money?

Teams were banned from Europe for going into administration, I fail to see the difference. Perhaps because UEFA know they can leech off of some tasty Sheikh dolla dolla bills.

Because it's like complaining to FIFA that they gave the World Cup to Qatar. You won't get anywhere.

You'd need a full legal challenge. Even in the best case scenario where we won that challenge, if you think UEFA is corrupt, do you really think we'd get a fair crack at one of their competitions?

It's utterly futile.

Fair enough with regards to futility. But I disagree with those saying "fair enough, Man City are better than us". If they've broken the rules applying to teams in Europe, that harms their right to play in the tournament, in my opinion.

I think the whole fair play thing is a load of tosh anyway. Who really benefits? Clubs with young English talent are just more likely to get stripped of their assets earlier and earlier by teams like City and Chelsea so they have home grown options.

I would like to see us appeal this definitely. Punishment should be ejection from the competition not making them spend even more.

What grounds do we have to appeal? We are what 10 points behind them, I understand why RS would as there 1 point ahead of them, the punishment should be Demotion to Europa, you no our luck, they get kicked out and we still won't get in

1) Septic Bladder and his cronies will be skimming their cut off the fines.
2) All teams when joining their league agree to abide by it's decisions and not take it to outside agencies to resolve. They could fight it tooth and nail through the courts but FIFA/UEFA/FA could simply turn around and tell them they are no longer welcome if they don't abide by the rules. It's how they can bring in all the randon other rules which would be illegal in European law (quotas on foreign players for instance)
