Player Valuation: £8m
There is an article in "Times Online" regarding Redknapp's interest in Micah Richards and Craig Bellamy. There is a chance that both will be gone this summer, although that list can be much, much longer.
About a dozen players could leave City to make way for new arrivals this summer, with the futures of Robinho, Stephen Ireland, Martin Petrov, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Roque Santa Cruz, Patrick Vieira, Javier Garrido, Sylvinho, Nedum Onuoha, Felipe Caicedo, Benjani Mwaruwari and Michael Johnson also under threat.
Should we take a look at any of them? For me Stephen Ireland has a big future, and he would give as one more AM option, to play there in old fashioned advanced playmaker role, which would help us offer something else than Cahill playing there. Also wondering if Petrov has 1-2 more seasons in him, we lack a direct winger like him.

I suspect Moyes will be looking for a replacement for Cahill sooner rather than later as Cahill is the wrong side of 30 now, but I'm not sure City is a good hunting ground to find one. I'd imagine their players will be on a hefty wedge, and may be out of our wage range as a result. Would a player take a cut for regular football?

Not one of those players would improve us.

Well, maybe Steven Ireland, but he's a ****

Tevez and Bellamy, dont really rate any of the others or as Besty says, they are total [Poor language removed].

Bellendamy is defo a total cnut, but hes a pacy dangerous cnut, so I can JUST overlook it.

If he played on the right i'd have him but he's all left isn't he? Don't need him unless Pienarr goes.

Wouldn't mind Adam Johnson though on the right hes looked very good at city.

Shaun Wright-Phillips, despite his deficiencies, would still improve our first eleven at present. He wouldn't be at the top of my list by any means, far from it, but he's someone I'd take for a reasonable price. Simply to give us balance with his pace and workrate. That's looking at the situation realistically, we've tried to sign him before and we'll have little money to work with.

Nedum Onuoha and Steven Ireland would also be useful players to have. Martin Petrov is talented but I'm not sure about his consistency and attitude, I'm not sure he'd fit in here and he's a bit old aswell.

Dont really rate Ireland that much to be honest!

Id have Onuoha - he could develop into a very good player!

I think SWP is a bit loong in the tooth for the money we would have to pay.

I doubt they would sell Richards!

And i cant see City selling us anyone if im honest after last summer.

Can see Ireland going to Villa or Fulham...cant see anyone else being interested in him especially when they'll slap a high price on him.

Rate Wright Phillips and would have him. But its all about cash which we dont have.
