Well he's just snipped 10 million off his transfer fee as well for that show of petulance
Everton have increased their bid to 35m and 9 months rehabilitation thrown in

Still fancy him in a race with McNeilWoke up, heard we're still interested and has chopped his own leg off.
Yes
Point being he said no
Forest have moved on
We haven't even got to the stage of agreeing a price with his club
I get that , I really do.
But point still stands Lyon have rejected our 1st bid , where is our 2nd bid ? or just match their valuation.
Gives the player a call to make .
Or we just end up in a permanent state of limbo.
That's not good with not a lot of time left.
dun mind doak too, if they prefer to keep ngumoha and cash in on doakThe bad/good news is Ngumoha is such a good player the redmen aren't even gonna want Fofana
This really. Even if we are still looking to get him, it doesn't mean that we're just sat round waiting for a call and not doing anything else. This is just one that's been leaked to Romano, there's probably dozens of plates spinning and loads of the other players on the list will be in very similar situations - there really aren't that many players out there who are just desperately hoping that Everton in particular come in for them, so even if we go further down the list there's still a decent chance that players will be saying 'well actually Forest and West Ham have been in touch aswell so I want to see what they've got to say before I commit to anything'.As mentioned, there is nothing to suggest we are still actively pursueing the player right now. Many are just assuming because he's not gone anywhere yet, that we're still sat in the Lyon car park waiting for an answer.
Probably because the harder bit is convincing the player, so that's what the focus is on right now.
If he gives the go ahead, you match the asking price and then move forward from there.
Nah, nobody goes through the hassle of submitting a formal bid for a player without knowing whether the player is interested in coming or not.I would have thought you would have to agree to what Lyon want before they would let you talk to the lad.

Would you bet on a payout of 1.05?If I was a betting man and trying to wade through the amount of wham you find online, I'd think Grealish is our most likely option in this position given the competition we have for the likes of Fofana
Even after that he'd still somehow be less one footed than McNeilWoke up, heard we're still interested and has chopped his own leg off.
The Newcastle comparison is a fair benchmark. Everton are moaning how hard it is to buy players, yet when Newcastle’s takeover went through in January 22 they were deep in relegation trouble and still managed to bring in Bruno Guimaraes, Trippier, Wood and Burn. We are starting from a far better point and finding it seemingly challenging to bring players in.Pay him proper wages, and you see how quick he comes. I have a feeling that we are trying to get good players on "normal" wages when the club comes from a couple of relegation fights. Newcastle did manage to attract top players a few seasons ago when they were bottom of the table and massive favourite for relegation. I know it is not ideal, especially with psr, but we need to get a couple in real talents even if it is at a significant cost. We would benefit long term, the same way Newcastle did.
Wood & Burn decent pickups - but c'mon mate Bruno & Trippier were brought in for mega money/wages which we clearly won't entertain right now..The Newcastle comparison is a fair benchmark.
