Transfer Rumour Malick Fofana

More importantly in terms of doing the deal, that suits the agent perfectly as it's two sets of fees in a few years

Yeah agreed there.

I do think he comes here just a huge gut feeling.

Imagine the excitement he will give us when he just simply knocks the ball and runs past someone.

The fact this most basic of skills is exciting to me says it all about our recruitment over the past decade.

Nobody has a clue what our budget actually is though, it's all pure speculation whenever you see 100, 150, etc,

Yeah I think if the club think both Dibling and Fofana are solid investments, they'd be prepared to sanction both. It might affect what we do in the midfield and right back positions, but the lack of concrete links in those areas suggests we're flexible with how we address them.

Oh we are at a weird place right now, lots of doom and gloom, but such is the nature of the rebuild that it could change very quickly with the right signings coming in.

We knew coming into this summer we had something very rare in footy, a chance to clean slate rebuild.

It's shy I'm super frustrated to see people crying and saying we should be bringing in the likes of Brownhill, the crap fullback from Leicester etc. as all they does is place us back to square one and i do understand it's outta the fear imbued over the last 5 years of relegation, but it's symptomatic of a issue that will hold us back as it's essentially without saying it settling for just surviving again.

Be bold on the rebuild, aim high, else we may as well have stayed at Goodison and wallowed in the past for the next forty years

I mentioned a short while ago that its very exciting to have a speedster on one side and a dribbler on the other.

Like when United had Giggs and Kanchelskis. Even when we had Limpar and Kanchelskis.

With Fofana and Dibling they can play 2 positions each so they can be an even greater threat if interchanging with Ndiaye for example during matches.

I think both would easily double in value in 2 seasons time. If we grow quickly then theyre going to be assets we want to keep, like Branthwaite.

I'm of the opinion we don't have a set in stone budget.

We have a budget to strengthen the squad, we have a variable amount also to be able to go towards players who are seen as too good and investment to miss out on.

If he does sign then I’m sure he’ll have a clause in somewhere where if a champions league team comes in for him in a future window we will have to let him go if he wants

I think it's abundantly clear Players just don't want to come, we can ask every high profile player to join us but ultimately why would they... when other sides also come in that have been successful.... Not hard to think they would prefer an easier ride on probably more money picking up medals for doing very little.
