No chance. It's old and it needed breaking up after Moyes. It is in the premier league
There was life before the Premiership. It was all so simple then.It is in the premier league
*sigh*
Getting above Moyes record points total in your first season was a big achievement...didn't just better it either, blazed right past it.
Look, you can take it or leave it: I didnt go overboard about Martinez's first season when it happened, and I'm not going overboard about the decline this season...I'm trying to both criticise his faults this season and support his tenure as manager for the coming season.
It's really that simple.
It tells me they occur because the fickle haven't got it through their heads we have a manager who worked a miracle last season and WILL be given enough time. It's a big wind up by people with agendas. They'll crawl back under their stones soon.\
Yeah, I agree. We won't be a top destination this summer and we will possibly lose a couple top players as well. Unfortunately, that means we have to hang on to some of the dead weight for now.yeah can't really be shipping out and bringing in 10 new players haha agree though that we have alot of deadwood
Instead you're going overboard in the praise of his first season to try and counter those who you think are going overboard in this season.
Whilst acting like you're Mr Rational without your own agenda.
Which everyone you labelled a plotter and a troll, and pretty much all those that are left who you didn't know that's bollocks.
And it's laughable you say you criticise his faults when you don't criticise his biggest : that he has the team who finished 5th last season in 14th come March 21st due to the awful slow ass tippy tappy way he has them playing, totally different to the good stuff he acheived the previous season.
But you think criticising his playing style means you by default praise the only other way that you deem possible to play : Sargeant major Moyes agricultural hoofball. So you won't do it and make up that people want that style back so you can attack them for it.
Personally I will get rid of Hibbert, Kone, Distin, Atsu, Alcaraz this summer.
We won't clear all deadwoods in one go.
Then, the next group of players who will leave (2016 summer) are McGeady, Barry, Pienaar, Howard (if he fails to get back to form).
I will keep Ossie. He is still a good squad player for the time being. I don't rate Robles. If he is 2nd or 3rd choice I won't complain. First choice keeper no ta. If I have a choice, I will keep Mirallas.
Or having a top class striker on loan. Moyes would have got us the same points or better with Rom.So it's gone from a "miracle" to simply good work now.
Not that getting 9 points more than the previous season where Stevie Wonder could see a more positive approach would achieve that is a miracle whatsoever anyway.
Unless overstating last seasons achievment now helps some kind of agenda that is.
No chance. It's old and it needed breaking up after Moyes.
Lukaku is the best striker we've had in the PL and McCarthy our best CM, imo. That;s the two additions who have made the difference.
You are possibly correct on this. But Dave our EX was never given that amount of money to splurge on one player so your implied criticism is unwarranted.
If you adjust for price inflation, both the £8.6M for Johnson and £11M for Yakubu would be the equivalent.
