What do you think of the new album? Im dissapointed, think I only like The Alchemist. There's nothing that sends a shiver down your spine like The Longest Day off the previous album, or the middle part in Wildest Dreams off the album before that. It's not even back to old school. It's obviously musically good, but I just think its kinda boring.

Not heard it. LOVE their old stuff but I'd say nothing stands out since the turn of the century!

Dance of Death was a great album IMO. Best album is defo 7th son for me.

I like it. The second half of Satellite 15....The Final Frontier, the chorus of El dorado, mother of mercy, coming home, the alchemist, and when the wild wind blows are good.

Its Iron Maiden not Cradle of Filth or some [Poor language removed]. Its basically pop. *lies* but its definatly not ear plug worthy no matter what music youre into. Can be appreciated by everyone, even a trance head like me.

Saw them support Maiden in 06 at Birmingham NEC. Matt Heafy is a massive bell. Someone in the crowd through a bottle at him (also massive bell) but he literally spent about 15 minutes having a go at the guy in the crowd and getting the light man to put him in the spotlight and get him ejected from the venue. He was a Maiden fan at a Maiden gig. Who does he think he is? Was for security to decide.

Have to say...not warming to this new album. Bit pedestrian, not many power riffs. Just plods along.

Nowhere near as good as the last album which, IMO, was one of their best.
