Magic Derby moments

For me its either the Kanchelskis brace at analfield in a 2-1 win. Or the 2-0 at goodison with Big Dunc's first goal for the club, an Rideout with a late second. Think we were bottom of the league at the time an it was joe royals first game in charge.

The first derby I remember was when we stopped the r/s unbeaten run, With a wayne clark goal. 1-0 just remember my dad jumping round like a lunatic at the final whistle, I was sat right the front of the gwladdy with my feet through the bars.

Kevin Ratcliffe scoring at the Kop for me. He was as shocked as i was. Hilarious, 2-0 win for the mighty blues i think.

Our cup semi at Maine Road, 23rd April 1977 we ended up losing the replay thanks to that prick of all pricks Clive Thomas but seeing Tommy Smith megged and turned inside out by Duncan Mc will live with me forever. We ripped them apart and again got robbed by a rs friendly official.

Martin Dobson's screamer at Analfailed, though we lost.

Andy King's winner at Goodison.

Paul Wilkinson destroying their unbeaten run at Goodison.

Andre Kanchelskis' double at Analfailed, here tore them a new arsehole that day.

And the 3-0 .

The last time I had a bevvy with Andy Wazzar he said he dreams about that goal, nightly(y)(y)(y)

wayne clark at goodison stopping liverpools 30 odd unbeaten run. i remember it was on a sunday and i was in church so we had to watch the video we had set. i must have been about 10 but knew how important it was stopping liverpool beating forests record.

Not really a derby as such, but the 1984 Charity Shield at Wembley where we beat 'em 1-0 courtesy of a Grobbelar own goal, Why? Because I was there - the first Everton game I ever watched in person.

Graham Sharpe's goal against the RS at Anfield when my mate and I were standing in the Kop, and one of the few openly cheering.

Those were the days (y)
