What do people expect, Macclesfield away. You very rarely see Prem sides go away in the FA cup and win 5-0 anymore.

As we know to our cost the FA Cup throws up some strange results and performances !

I'll put this down as a workman like performance that acheived the aim of having us in the draw for the next round - JOB DONE !!

COYB

4th ROUND TEAMS:

Everton
Hartlepool
Torquay
Arsenal
Chelsea or Southend
Coventry
Derby
Hull or Newcastle
Kettering
Notts Forest
Midlesborough
Pompey or Bristol City
Fulham
Sunderland
West Brom or Peterborough
West Ham
Preston or Liverpool
Birmingham or Wolves
Cheltenham or Doncaster
Histon or Swansea
Leyton Orient or Sheffield United
Cardiff
Charlton or Norwich
Ipswich
Leicster or Crystal Palace
Millwall or Crewe
QPR or Burnley
Watford
Gillingham or Villa
Southampton or Man Utd
Blyth Spartans or Blackburn

Id quite like Newcastle or Millwall

Anyway...

I think the RS will be in for a tough game. Moyes would've had a word big time to Irvine and the foreigners playing in the RS team wont like it up em.

Speaking of the RS, just seen video of Ossie's winner (thanks for the link) and don't you just know if a certain recently-arrested skipper from across the park had stuck that one in they'd be showing it non-stop til the cows came home?

Comfortable performance as I expected, our composure in the second half was very good. We just tired them out with short passing. Osman, Pienaar and Arteta all involved.

It was never going to be pretty and it was always going to be a battle. Good win, another clean sheet and a great goal.

Sums it up nicely

Do for me lads. These games aren't for impressing the journalists, they're for winning and we've done it. If we'd played ace, a lot of people would have said, 'ah, it was only Macclesfield'.
Look at Man Citeh. HA.

It just shows how we need a class striker i thought big vic looked injured and cahill is not that great on the ground but all in all a good win for me
